Project Summary
This team researched the effects of the increase in plastic waste and the improper plastic management techniques in the plastic waste management sector. Two of their key insights were: 1) Biodegradable plastics are still expensive to produce, therefore drastic change would take many years before implementation and 2) Sustainable solutions are the ones that come from within society. Solutions should blend with the typical lifestyle of the people.
