Claudia Kelly Li is a Global Ashoka Fellow with nearly a decade of experience in cross-cultural communications and environmental campaigning. She is a co-founder and the visionary behind the organisations Shark Truth and hua foundation: non-profits that pioneer food sustainability and food security work in the Chinese-Canadian community. Through the power of narrative and values-based storytelling, her work and writing has shifted global and national conversations around the intersection of conservation and culture. Claudia has previously acted as an advisor to the Vancouver Foundation and as a board member of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives BC. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and is a graduate of the Next Up social and environmental justice program, and the THNK Creative Leadership Program. Claudia is currently working on a new storytelling project called panning4gold, and developing new programming at Art of People on leadership development, conflict facilitation, and human-centred design.
